An evolution of and a continuation of the established work and relationships of Tutere Gallery
Kate Hartmann realised when Tutere Gallery closed its doors in early 2020 that Tutere had always been about the community of artists that existed in and around the space rather than the space itself. She recognised the value in maintaining and strengthening Tutere’s established networks and the exciting potential in fostering new connections and relationships locally and regionally.
Tutere Collaborative provides an environment in which it’s collective of artists are empowered and supported in growing creatively and professionally. While Tutere Collaborative has historically fostered conversation predominantly within the visual arts space, our objective is to become more interdisciplinary.
“Nature” the exhibition is an example of Tutere Collaborative finding and utilising new spaces in which to showcase their creative individuality in a shared context.
